Timeshares for the Whole Family
By Jennifer Lynn
Family-Friendly Vacations On a Budget When you've selected a vacation destination that the whole family will love you'll build bonds as you collectively look forward to, and enjoy, your annual or biennial trip. Timeshares are a great way to create family traditions that will long outlive your week away. If you're a parent looking to plan family-friendly adventures that everyone will enjoy, you might want to consider timeshares as a flexible and budget-friendly accommodation option.
Choose What's Right For You Depending on your family's vacation needs and desires you have a couple of choices when it comes to determining what kind of timeshare to purchase. You can either choose to buy a vacation property in your favorite vacation destination that is affiliated with an exchange company that you'll return year after year (with the option to exchange when the mood strikes), or you can purchase a vacation club membership. These memberships will make an array of resorts available for use every year, but won't assign you to a particular resort. Either method will allow you to travel anywhere your heart would take you, and each has its own benefits.
Build Bonds and Create Traditions You can find timeshares for sale all over the country. From campground memberships that will give you access to an array of outdoor parks every year, to five-star Oceanside accommodations that offer exciting adventures like snorkeling, cliff jumping and eco-tours, timeshare resorts offer something for everyone. A vacation property is a great way to build traditions and secure family trips to either a favorite vacation destination, or to an exciting new destination every year.
When you buy timeshare, what you're really purchasing is a block of time in a unit at the resort of your choice. You'll save hundreds, even thousands with timeshares because your suite will be divided among several other owners who will use it when you're not. Thus, the cost to the individual owner is quite a bit lower while at the same time you'll be securing a unit that is generally larger and better equipped. Additionally, once you've purchased a vacation property you'll never again be at the whim of the ever-changing lodging market. You'll have locked in your purchase price and will only ever have to pay a static annual or biennial maintenance fee respective to your usage to secure your family vacations.
